Voltaris LLC is a software development company built around a single language and the systems people put behind it. We are deliberately small: the person who scopes your project is the person who writes the code and the person you email when something breaks.
Most of our work sits in the unglamorous middle of a business — the API that the mobile app depends on, the nightly pipeline that feeds the finance report, the integration that has to reconcile to the cent. It is the kind of software where being correct matters more than being clever.
What we believe
- Boring technology wins.
- PostgreSQL and a well-structured Django or FastAPI service will outlive most architectures. We reach for something exotic only when the problem genuinely demands it, and we say so in writing when we do.
- Code you cannot maintain is not delivered.
- Every engagement ends with documentation, tests and a walkthrough. If your team cannot change the code after we leave, we have not finished the job.
- Estimates are commitments, not hopes.
- We would rather quote a longer timeline and hit it than win the work on a number we do not believe. When something slips, you hear it that week, not at the deadline.
- Tests are part of the price.
- Not an optional extra you decline to save budget. They are what makes the second month cheaper than the first.
Who we work well with
- Funded startups that need a backend built properly the first time.
- Established companies with a Python system nobody currently owns.
- Data and analytics teams whose pipelines have outgrown scheduled scripts.
- Product teams that need senior Python capacity for a defined stretch.
Who we don't
We turn down work regularly, and it saves everybody money. We are probably the wrong choice if you need a large team scaled up in a fortnight, if the budget only works with offshore junior rates, or if the project is primarily front-end. In those cases we will usually point you toward someone better suited.
Working together
We work remotely and asynchronously by default, with a standing weekly call in your timezone. Work happens in your repository, on your issue tracker, under your review process. You own the code from the first commit — there is no escrow arrangement, no license to negotiate at the end, and no dependency on us continuing.

Voltaris LLC is a New Mexico limited liability company, registered at 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #7259, Albuquerque, NM 87113. We sign mutual NDAs before the technical conversation starts and work under either your master services agreement or ours.
